The Research On The Evaluation Of Shaanxi Imperial Mausoleums Tourism Resources

With the sustainable, steady and healthy development of Chinese economy, people's living standard, degrees of receiving education and aesthetic value are improved step by step, hence knowledge tourism products become more and more popular. As a special human tourism resource, the imperial mausoleum is more attractive with its unique charm. The protection and resonable exploitation of tourism resources are quite essential for the development of tourism industy. As the former capital city of 13 dynasties in China, there are plenty of imperial mausoleums in Shannxi province now. For better realizing the sustainable development of Shannxi imperial mausoleums, a reasonable evaluation should be necessarily taken first, which contributes to fully recognize their resources value and provide a theoretical basis for the further protection and exploitation of Shaanxi imperial mausoleums. The previous imperial mausoleum researches mainly focused on the architecture, institution and distribution, funerary objects of the imperial mausoleums, and the protction and exploitation of tourism resources in the imperial mausoleums, which seldom involved the research of evaluation towards the tourism resources in the imperial mausoleums. Especially for Shaanxi, such a big provice with numerous imperial mausoleums, it lacks of a set of feasible tourism resources evaluation system. In terms of protecting and exploiting tourism resources in imperial mausolums in Shaanxi, the present paper aims to put forward a set of indicator system for evaluating the tourism resources in imperial mausoleums in Shaanxi province, which will be expected to provide a reference for the tourism exploition of Shaanxi imperial mausoleum.On the basis of experts interview and related literature reviews, the author confirmed a set of indicator system for evaluating the tourism resources in imperial mausoleums in Shaanxi province with the Delphi technique, and got the total weights and the total sort order by using the weights of indicator system with the Analytic Hierarchy Process and the weights of decision-makers with the group AHP distance analytical method. Finally, the indicator system for evaluating the tourism resources in imperial mausoleums in Shaanxi province was set up. In addition, the author analysed tourism resources of Shaanxi imperial mausoleum with the polygon general, sample chart, and made a comparison with the Analytic Hierarchy Process, which finally result in some related suggestions on the exploitation of tourism resources of Shaanxi imperial mausoleum.The thesis was put into 5 parts: The first part is the introduction. The research background, purpose and significance are included in this part.The second part is the literature review. The previous related researches, domestically and abroad, on imperial mausolum and tourism resources are introduced.The third part is the theory and methodology. The methods of evaluation and analysis of tourism resources in Shaanxi imperial mausoleums are introduced in this part, which includes the Delphi technique, the Analytic Hierarchy Process, the group AHP distance analytical method and the full pemutation polygon synthesis index method.The fourth part is the analysis and discussion. First, the evaluation indicator of tourism resources in Shaanxi imperial mausoleums are confirmed with the Delphi technique, and then the judgement matrix is built up with the Analytic Hierarchy Process. The weights of experts and indexes are calculated by the group AHP distance analytical method and Matlab.The model of the evaluation of tourism resources in Shaanxi imperial mausoleums is finally built. The model is mainly made up of 3 layers, namely, the imperial mausolum noumenon, the protection and management of imperial mausolum and environment. Second, the standards of each evaluation indicator are fixed on and are used to grade the tourism resources in all Shaanxi imperial mausoleums according to the model. Finally, the tourism resources in Shaanxi imperial mausoleums are analysed and evaluated integratively and some suggestions for different types of tourism resources in imperial mausoleums are put forward.The last part is the conclusion and future recommendation, which includes the thesis conclusion and some recommendation for future study.
