Although the technology roadmap is invented by the Western developed countries, but its ideas and methods is worth for us to learn from. In recent years, many scholars in our county have been carried out the research on the technology roadmap, resulted in a large number of research results of China’s national conditions. Many Local Governments and departments also used technology roadmap into a specific practice, played very good results.At present, China’s animal husbandry is developing rapidly; as an important part of animal husbandry, the duck industry is developing far more than even the average rate of livestock development. Duck industry’s rapid growth provided a strong impetus to our county’s economics; it has become a Pillar industry in many places. China’s duck production, processing and marketing plays an important role in the world. Although the domestic duck industry has rapidly developed in recent years, however, as the "thoroughfare of nine provinces, province with thousands of lakes", Hubei province, which has a long tradition of waterfowl production, is Unworthy of the name of a large province with duck products consumption. Enterprises in our province purchased a large number of raw materials from other provinces every year. In addition, the duck industry has relied on a simple mode of scale expansion to develop, technology research lagged behind the development of the industry, unable to meet the diverse needs of the market. In this paper, as a starting point to promote the development of technology, to meet the demand of market and to promote industrial upgrading, I introduce the ideas and concepts of technology roadmap into duck industry, and try to map out the development of duck industry technology roadmap on the basis of Hubei province.Following the ideas of "conditions of Hubei resources-analysis of market demand-to develop strategic goals-Analysis of technical barriers-Analysis of R&D needs-mapping technology road map ", theory with practice, I studied the Technology road mapping of the development of the duck industry in Hubei Province.
