Use the six sigma to improve the plastic spray colorvariance, analysis the process technology and historical quality data, to get the customercomplain color variance root cause. For the process defect, execute Six-Sigma technology toimprove the quality with five steps of DMAIC. In the define phase, from the project team,analyze the cost and finish the project chart; in the measure phase, base on the process toidentify the key process, find the input factor from I-P-O, and get the key input factor by filterthe Man, Machine, Material, Method, Environment, take GR&R analysis to the inspectionoperators and test machine to get the results. In the analyze&improvement phase, use thehypothesis test to confirm the key input factor, and improve the quick action for the quickwins issue, and also need to confirm the responsibility and schedule, In the control phase,mainly standard the action plan to ensure the continuous improvement efficiency. Throughthe internal process improvement, the DPMe reduce to lower4000ppm from240700ppm.The project obtains a better economic efficiency, meanwhile, the yield rate improves thedelivery in time and makes customer more satisfied. It is useful for the Six-Sigmamanagement widely applying in HZ Company.
