Research On Overall Facilities And Equipment Managemet For EMS Plant Based On The Application In BENCH Company

Facing the current financial crisis, the international economy met the challenge of morecustomized product demand and lower market demand, EMS (electronic manufacturingservice) industry suffered serious attack and impact. In order to remain competitive，Thefocus of the preferred approach is on cost reduction by reducing overheads and continuousimprovement. This thesis’s background is based on the current EMS industries’ development.How to have the strong competition with the high efficiency and low cost that it is veryvaluable for EMS industries’ operation.The thesis summarizes the main principle of equipment maintenance and the history ofTPM, the management characteristics of modern equipment maintenance. By the historyexperience and knowledge, the author also descriptes the background of EMS and BenchCompany. Through the production operations and equipment maintenance managementanalysis, machine operations, failure characteristics, maintainability, repair cost, performenceand reliability have been studied. Author proposes to take some correctives, in order tooptimize these factors of maintenance management, such as: technical, manpower,organization, standard, reliability and economy. By maintenance management method,applied to the practical repair.The task and core contents of equipment maintenance management, how to increase thereliability of equipment running and maintenance cost reduction. Secondly, to select suitablemethods to different failure factors in practical control. Optimize the maintenance proposalfor getting the best combination on maintenance, repair and assets utilize. With the practice ofSMT maintenance management, targeted to make corresponding method and strategy todifferent failure for evidencing the applicability of recommendations. The third part alsofocuses on the economy of equipment maintenance management, how to build a performanceevaluation programme, according as the process of maintenance and repair, mian scope suchas: KPI, CPK, OEE and expenses etc.Based on the analyzing of performance index and modelon the EAM system, the performance evaluation system proposed a formula of detail factors to adjust the operation to achieve better results, the final goal for achieving a cost-effectiveroute.At the end of thesis, appearing the company looks good. With the continuous improvementof technology, the method of management also will be improved. Based on the thesisprovided a developed method to evaluate the maintenance performenace. Qualitative andquantitative have been applied to performance evaluation on the existing maintenancemanagement system.Through the implementation of these methods; Bench companys hasenhanced their core competitiveness for their sustainable development. Author expects thisresearch will able to help others for management vision expanding.
