| Along with the economic globalization and arrival of the era of knowledge economy, thecompetition among enterprises is gradually changed from the traditional market competition andcost competition to talent competition and technical competition which is based on talent.Especially in the moment that the production of iron and steel is excess and iron and steelenterprises excess profit hard, how to give full play to the talents especially science andtechnology talent and how to strengthen and improve the performance management of them hasvery important significance.This thesis summarizes the concept, the current situation and process of performancemanagement. It also summarizes the concept and features of professional and technical personnel.On the basis of the achievements and shortcomings of performance management for professionaland technical personnel it designs the performance management system of professional andtechnical personnel in WISCO. Specific content is as follows:The first chapter introduces the research background, significance, the domestic and foreignresearch situation and research methods.The second chapter summarizes an overview of the concept and correlation theory ofperformance evaluation and performance management.The third chapter analyses the present situation of performance management forprofessional and technical personnel in WISCO. By the means of questionnaire and expertinterview, it summarizes the achievements and shortcomings of performance management forprofessional and technical personnel. This part lays the foundation for the designing ofprofessional and technical personnel performance management system.In the basis of the idea, the principle, the fourth chapter designs the performancemanagement system for professional and technical personnel. The system includes seven parts.They are the preparation, performance planning, performance coaching, performance evaluation,performance feedback, usage of performance results and performance improvement program.The fifth chapter is the summary of this thesis. It summarizes the research content, thelimitation and the prospect of further research. |
