With the application of the computer network technology, the new media forms haveappeared. Compared with the traditional TV, broadcast, newspaper and magazine, theinformation content of the new media is richer, the propagation velocity is moreastonishing and the coverage is vaster. The new media has created the unprecedentedmedia and public opinion environment. In the new media environment, the enterprisecrisis occurs more frequently, spreads more quickly, affects the enterprise more widely anddestroys the enterprise more deeply. How to get ready for the crisis management, defendthe brand and reputation of the enterprise, and hold the sustainable development of theenterprise in the new media environment has become an important problem.This paper focuses on the enterprise crisis in the new media environment accordingto the thought of raising problem, analyzing problem and resolving problem from theangle of promoting the development of the enterprise steadily by integrating theory withpractice. Firstly it introduces the purpose and significance of the selection of the thesis.The second chapter elaborates the traditional processing procedures of the crisismanagement, while it analyzes the three stages of dealing with the enterprise crisis whichrefers to before the crisis, in the crisis and after the crisis. The third chapter introduces thedefinition and characteristics of the new media and discusses the impacts of the new mediaenvironment on the enterprise crisis management. The fourth chapter works out the copingstrategies of crisis management for the enterprise based on the comprehensive analysis.The fifth chapter gives a set of crisis management strategies combining with the workingexperience and cases of the author in Guangdong Mobile. At last it makes a conclusionand points out the shortcomings of the research and the future studying direction. The lasttwo chapters are the emphases.
