In recent years, with the explosive growth of China automobile industry, thedomestic automobile components industry has developed with an extraordinary speed.Due to the late start of the China domestic automobile components enterprises, theactual development period was only within the past twenty years. The major problems,such as the small scale, incomplete management system, poor quality and cost controlability, and lack of R&D capability etc. have existed in most of the enterprises, whichmay impact their future growth seriously. Meanwhile, with the rapid growth ofglobalization on our domestic markets, the domestic automobile componentsenterprises are facing with many challenges such as how to grasp proper opportunities,avoid disadvantages, cultivate and improve core competence, take the comparativeadvantages to complete with the multinational enterprise, which can promote thesurvival and development of the enterprises. Such challenges need to be resolved bythe enterprise operation strategy and its effective implementation.This thesis applies the strategy methods of Porter Competitor Structure Model,Enterprise Resources and Competitiveness Analysis, and SWOT Analysis tosystematically analyze and summarize several competitive elements of Company A,such as the manufacturing technology, product quality, cost control, R&D ability,human resource, and customer relationship. By benchmarking the main competitors ofYanfen P.O. and Jiangyin Mould Plastic in the internal markets of China FAW GroupCorporation, it identifies the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats ofCompany A’s operation ability from its management system, quality and cost control,manufacturing technology, designing development and market expansion. Then itdecides the development direction of Company A’s core competence, finally sets upthe operation strategy target and implementation plan, which will achieve the healthyand sustainable growth in the enterprises.The main purpose of this thesis is to find the key factors which influence thecompetitions of domestic automobile components enterprises by researching theoperations strategy for Company A, and to set up and carry out a set of logical andreasonable operation strategy by identifying the core abilities from the processes of operation, and meanwhile to eliminate the blind operation and keep the steadyimprovement and positive growth of the core competence for enterprises. Inconclusion, for a small company to win the competition against the big ones, thisstudy provides good reflections and insights for the domestic automobile componentsenterprises...
