As the economy is highly developed in modern society, the dramatic change ofenvironment doesn’t only provide a good opportunity, but also poses a severe challenge. Thegood companies are always able to adapt to this change and put forward to a clear, guidingdevelopment strategy, which makes the enterprises to maintain a long-term development andvalue. Therefore, development strategy plays an important role in modern enterprise operationmanagement.This paper defines ZM Company as research object to discuss the problems of companydevelopment strategy with theories and methods of Strategic Management. It introduces thedevelopment, operation and target vision and makes a detail analysis of internal and externalenvironment with PEST tool and Porter Five Forces Model. In addition, it also analyzes andextracts key factors affecting ZM Company with SWOT tool to find the advantage,disadvantage, opportunity and threat. According to the strength and position of ZM Company,it brings forward to a development strategy based on industry chain to make an executive plan.Finally, it gives specific suggestions on integration of resources, organization structure andenterprise culture contribution from the perspective of security view.Although there is practice guiding significance of the business expanding strategy to thefuture of ZM Company, the company strategy research is a very complex system projectneeding adjustment with the change of policy, technology and industry trends. So, the viewand conclusion needs test in practice.
