Finished vehicle sales logistics is an important component in automotivelogistics, the cost of which has an direct influence on the final profitability of theenterprise and the entire supply chain. With the fast growing of competition in theautomotive industry, to enhance finished vehicle sales logistics efficiency and reducelogistics cost is a general trend. Especially, in recent years, as a substantial increase invehicle production in China, warehousing, distribution and vehicle demand are quitelarge, efficiency issues of finished vehicle sales logistics have become moreprominent. This is a very practical research topic of great significance—How to graspthe overall perspective of the automotive logistics supply chain, and design vehiclesales and logistics processes in the point of the rationalization, economic, scientific oflogistics, to reduce cost, with improving the level of logistics services and logisticsefficiency, speeding up the rapid response capability of the auto companies. The author did a month of investigation for the issue of Chery Automobilevehicle irrational mode of transport, leading to high cost of vehicle logistics, andobtained a large amount of information. This paper takes the Chery finished vehiclesales logistics as its research object, and constructs a scientific and efficienthub-and-spoke finished vehicle sales logistics network, based on the analysis ofvehicle sales and logistics network status quo, combining with the Chery reality. Thepaper provides new ideas for study of the logistics system for finished vehicle sales, and it is of great significance to solve the finished vehicle sales logistics networkaddress in other domestic auto companies, guiding the car manufacturer sales logisticsdevelopment.Based on the work and research, this article includes six chapters as follows:Chapter1: Introduction. This chapter describes the research background of the thesis, significance, the ideas and techniques.Chapter2: Basic Theory, and studies review at home and abroad. Relevanttheories of hub-and-spoke logistics network are systematically expounded in thischapter (including introduction of hub-and-spoke logistics network, the competitiveadvantages and disadvantages of the hub-and-spoke logistics network, the designprinciples of hub-and-spoke logistics network), the same to theory of the supplychain and theory of transportation-economy. The chapter reviews progress in the studyat home and abroad (automotive logistics, finished vehicle sales logistics,hub-and-spoke logistics network), noting the achievement and the still problems onthe basis of the comparison summary of research in the related field. This work doesa good job to pave the way for the later chapters.Chapter3: Chery finished vehicle sales logistics status quo. In this section, tobegin with, the paper describes the recent logistics status of Chery automobile andpoint out the problems. Then, with the help of analyzing the influencing factors ofefficiency, the paper gives some methods to increase the efficiency of Chery finishedvehicle sales logistics.Chapter4: Construction of Chery hub-and-spoke finished vehicle sales logisticsnetwork. As the main body of the paper, this chapter divides the construction processof hub-and-spoke finished vehicle sales logistics network into three steps: The firststep, it constructs the evaluation index system of logistics network nodes, and selects24vehicle sales and logistics hub nodes from the total337administrative regions-including the four municipalities directly under the Central Government,283prefecture-level cities,50districts (prefectures and leagues),with the combination offour qualitative principles; The second step, from a transport economics perspective, learning from Dijkstra (Dijkstra) algorithm thinking, it analyzes the comparativeeconomic advantages of the vehicle transport modes between Wuhu and23other hubnodes, in order to determine the vehicles patial levels of sales logistics hub nodes; Thethird step, it constructs the Chery hub-and-spoke finished vehicle sales logisticsnetwork, with reference to the principles of hub-and-spoke logistics network. At last, the chapter concludes through empirical analysis to evaluate the hub-and-spoke finished vehicle sales logistics network.Chapter5: Conclusions and discussion. This chapter Sums up and Concludes thefull text of the study, pointing out the inadequacies of this thesis and future researchdirections.
