With the development of economic globalization, enterprises of all types have being involved in this wave of globalization in varying degrees. Meanwhile, to get the most benefit from economic global competition, and keep sustainable development of enterprises, they must seize this critical point of the core competence in order to form the unique advantages of dominating the market. However, the enterprises’ resources are limited, which requires them to continuously integrate internal and external resources, optimize resource allocation. As a result, the Business Process Outsourcing emerged. A lot of practice shows that outsourcing enables companies to better focus on core competence, thus forming a new economic growth point.The hotel industry is one of the industries with the rapid development of economic globalization. At present, many hotels in domestic and foreign are enhancing the hotel’s core competence by outsourcing and get some successful outsourcing experience. In this context, a correct understanding of the current situation of the Chengdu-star hotel outsourcing, and the effective measures they can take to enhance their core competence is of great significance.The paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is an introduction. This section separately describes five areas, namely the background and significance of this study, research status, the scope and object of study, research ideas, research methods, and innovative point. The second chapter is the theoretical part, which systematically introduce the core competence theory and related theories. The third chapter is the part of the empirical research. Through in-depth market research, this chapter systematically analyze the basic situation of Chengdu star hotels outsourcing from the knowledge and attitude on outsourcing, the scope of outsourcing, the mode of outsourcing operation and outsourcing suppliers etc., and summed up that due to the immaturity of the hotel outside markets, hotel internal and external competitive pressures, the lack of government guidance, and the hotel’s outsourcing system is imperfect, the star hotel outsourcing in Chengdu still exist many problems in the concept of outsourcing, outsourcing decision, the implementation of outsourcing, the outsourcing of follow-up support system. The fourth, fifth and sixth chapters are the parts of the countermeasures. With the oriented of the dynamic management of the core competence, the three chapters separately do a more detailed discussion from business outsourcing decisions, outsourcing management, outsourcing effect evaluation. Finally, the author summarizes the full paper, and proposes the future research directions of the paper.
