Hangzhou star-hotel as a major tourism enterprise, will take pioneer role to lead Hangzhou tourism internationalization ,that's the proactive motivation and good opportunity why starts and focus on this subject.The whole paper processes based on the comprehensive analysis study, including use of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, summarized analysis, statistical analysis, comparative analysis, expert questionnaires, interviews, and focus on combination of theory and practice, qualitative and quantitative analysis , etc. This paper takes the development of star-hotel in Hangzhou as a beginning, study the current problems and trends existing in core competitiveness of star-hotels in Hangzhou from four aspects of customers, employees, culture and brand marketing. In response to these four core competitiveness, the paper constructs and designs the Earth structure model to core competitiveness of the hotel and fractionize the model into four sub-models with details, including hotel culture, learning and innovation, communication and co-ordination, management of power (Corresponding to the star-hotel present core competence issues mentioned above), which is more visualization, understanding to this study. Then the paper deepens its study from the above-mentioned model of the Earth structure and four sub-models into a hotel enterprise's core competitiveness evaluation index system and calculation model, which all data are from expert questionnaires and use AHP method as core competence evaluation of the Weight as basis, to make it easy to understand and practise. Finally, the paper also puts forward the ways to improve and upgrade hotel enterprise core competitiveness from the customers, employees, culture and marketing strategy: to brand to focus on the quality of service management; to contruct service management culture focused on employee; to ensure good customer-care relationship based on IT service; to broaden marketing public relationship under marketing strategy.
