Research On The Development Of Ancient-Town-Tourism In Guangxi

As the continuous development of knowledge, travelors, who pursue for different cultrual experience, have already made cultural tourism a popular topic at the moment. Among many forms of the cultural tourism, traveling in ancient town or village, which can offer tourists both physical and spiritual relax, is particularly favored. Through all those years, Guanxi pay more attenion on the natural scenery tourism but ignores the development of ancient town tourism, even if these ancient towns have unique culture of south China which is distinguished from ancient towns in Jiangsu province, Zhejiang province and Anhui province. Even those Ancient towns such as, Dayu, Huanyao and Xingping, which are in the historical and famous towns that is listed by National Construction and Culture Deartments, are bit well developed. Therefore, writer gives some advice for the tourism development of Guangxi’s ancient towns based on their resources.Compared with Many studies that only analyze the current situation and problems of a specific ancient town and then give some suggestions, these articles chose the methods that are mostly qualitative analysis.In this article, writer uses the AHP to analyze the resources of Guangxi’s ancient towns and envalue them. Althoguh AHP is highly accepted in academic world of tourism, it is merely used in ancient town tourism area. Furthermore, this article builds two resource-marking systems for both types of ancient towns. Based on different values calculated in the two systems, the writer believes it could tell us which direction and what mode thiose towns should take in their future delevepment. After that, based on the Analysis results, this article find out this towns’strengths and weaknesses, then give some advises on the tourism development of them.
