The state-owned enterprises has always been playing an important role in promo ting social and economic development. Along with the national macro-control poli cy and economic situation changing, the reform of state-owned enterprises in acco rdance with the establishment of socialist market economic system, from previo us put authority to let benefit, policy adjustment into the conversion mechanis m, system innovation phase. State-owned enterprises pay system are gradual ref orm and improvement. Salary distribution need more equitable, realize the inside and outside fairness in the organization, because fairness is the core of pay sati sfaction; Compensation allocation needs to reflect the performance, implementatio n of performance salary, because only with performance, can play the salary ince ntive effect. Performance pay and fair in the pursuit of their goals differ, two b elong to the relation of unity of opposites. For state-owned enterprises, the increas ingly prominent role played by the pay system. Rigid personnel management, lack of competitiveness and attractiveness of the pay system, has become an obstacle for e nterprise. It is the important factors of company’s future. Therefore, in order to mo bilize the enthusiasm of the staff, strengthen the core talented person’s sense of belonging, will be through the implementation of scientific management, to furthe r enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.A thermoelectric company as a local state-owned enterprises, its compensation system has some typical and representative. Therefore, this article from the A thermal power company current salary management system characteristic, inspected salary system present situation, through the questionnaire and interview methods, analysis of its shortcomings and problems. At the same time, use the compensation theory, targeted for the company salary system optimized design.Based on the A thermoelectric company salary system present situation analysis, the current study found that the company’s pay system mainly has five aspects:one is the compensation strategy is not clear, the talent loss; two is the unreasonable salary structure, incentive is not strong; three is the pay grade differentiate unscientific, lack of internal fairness; four is the salary system the lack of personalized, employee needs cannot be met; five is a performance evaluation system is not perfect.On the summary of A thermoelectric company current salary system on the basis of existing problems, by analyzing current development situation of the company, competitive strategy, employee performance and other factors, the compensation system design of train of thought, and through the implementation of job evaluation, introduction of broadband banding salary and so on, the formulation of suitable A thermoelectric company compensation system optimization. Finally, this article from the enterprise training, improve the level of compensation management and the establishment of performance management system and other aspects, to construct the security system for the effective implementation of supporting platform.
