After30years of reform and opening up in China, the low labor cost advantage is beinggradually weakened, companies are faced with the theme of innovation in the current marketenvironment and have to implement innovation to face the increasing cost and the trend ofrecruitment difficulties. Organizational change, making the company the resources to matchwith the external environment; respect for talent, enhance employees’ sense of belonging tothe enterprise; the implementation of lean manufacturing process reengineering, arecommitted to improve efficiency, reduce waste and speed up the reaction rate on the market.Only “make the change” can maintain a competitive position in the market and achievesustainable development.This study is based on the nearly10years development course of the US-ownedenterprise E Company, digging out the underlying bottleneck of the E company ‘sdevelopment and finding a way to help E company get ride of the current dilemma by meansof organizational change, staff incentives and process reengineering. It is the base toimplement the employee incentive system and build lean manufacturing one piece flow thatRectangular organizational structure of autonomous production unit (APU) is implementedand it will improve the field management level of E company and enhance the formation ofthe company’s own core competitiveness.The thesis is divided into four chapters. Firstly outlined the background and significanceof this study, literature review, research methods and content. Secondly presented thebackground of the study, the course of E company, the characteristics of the currentproduction process and the current organizational structure and the management of theproduction site. Thirdly summarized and analyzed the problems in the productionmanagement of the E Company. Finally, gave some solutions solve the problems which Ecompany is currently facing from the three aspects of the human, material and method. Thesolutions include organizational structure and the processes reengineering by theimplementation of the single-piece flow of the lean manufacturing to reduce staff turnoverand improve the current processes. Those solutions will contribute to the smooth and effectivefield management in E company.This article is based on wire-harness manufacturing field and the APU organizationalstructure and the core principles of Lean Production–“One-piece Flow” to provide referencefor the manufacturer of labor-intensive and export-oriented manufacturers, especially forexport-oriented manufacturers. However, due to the different actual situation of each manufacturer,“one-piece flow” and APU structure will be different. Hence each manufacturerhas to form its APU structure and operation standard of “One-piece Flow” according to itsactual operation situation.
