The study of this paper targets the constructionmechanism of fresh vegetables price in Weifang area, and thoroughly analyzes the vegetablesprice construction and fluctuation mechanism in same area, by use of Marxist theory of value,western theory of the conclusions to equilibrium of supply and demand, elastic theory andeconomic fluctuation theory, based upon comprehensive understandings of the historicalevolutions and present status of fresh vegetables market in Weifang. The paper is comprised oftwo parts, one is the study at the price fluctuation of fresh vegetables, the other is vegetables priceconstruction mechanism hereof. In the first part, the paper targets the vegetable wholesale marketsin Shouguang county, Weifang, and finds out that currently the rural plantation structure here isbecoming optimized, although it shows up a equilibrium of vegetables plantings and grainsplantings, a significant change occurs to vegetables planting structure due to the price fluctuation.Also, the paper studies the price fluctuation of many typical vegetables, and finds out that multiplereasons such as seasonal rotation, storage status and others that may affect the price fluctuation offresh vegetables. The study shows that on the one hand hot pepper makes maximum fluctuationwhile potato fluctuates typically inactively on the other. In the second part, the paper firstlydissects the price construction of a series of vegetables markets, the same of wholesale marketsand vegetables wholesale price, and the same of vegetables forward transactions, furthermore, thepaper discloses certain malfunctions during the process of the price construction. Additionally, thepaper takes example of the price construction of hot pepper for further study, so as to thoroughlyanalyze the influence upon the hot pepper price, of the weather, demand&supply, and agriculturalpolicy.
