Performance evaluation of commercial banks is that the bank adopts specific mathematicaland statistical methods and design appropriate system to judge the operation perfomance torealize their strategic goals. Scientific and reasonable perfomance evalution system can helpbanks achieve long-term strategic objectives,maximize profit and strengthen thecompetitiveness. So the study on perfomance evaluation system receives increasingconcern.However, the perfomance evaluation system exist many problems as infollows:1.Bussiness philosophy emphasis too much on size and little on management efficencyand operation efficency.2.The present evaluation system don’t consider different banks’ specificsituation.3.The present system emphasis much on financial indicators,ignoring thenon-financial indicators.4.The present system ignore the involvement of employees which can’tfully moblize the staff’s enthusiasm.5.The system emphasis on short-term indicators.This paperadopt the priciple of systematic and operational, basing on the analyze of CCB’s KPI,from theaspect of financial,customer,internal process and learning to build the CCB’s performanceevaluation system.As to the dertemination of indicators’weight,we adopt the Analytic HierarchyProcess.Finally,this paper combine the Balanced Scorecard and KPI,putting forward a series ofproposals.This paper combine theory with practice,quantitave analysis with qualitativeanalysis,Balanced Scorecard with KPI,building a more scientific and rational system,which hasa certain reference value for banks’ perfomance evaluation.
