The research will help eachindustry to recognize the level of technological innovation, andgovernment departments can better make corresponding policies toimprove the overall competitiveness of manufacturing industry in china.According to the research of the previous reference, the author builda model of Chinese manufacturing technology innovation performanceevaluation system based on the balanced scorecard and establish theindices from four aspects of input in technological innovation, technological innovation process, the middle output in technologicalinnovation and the final output in technological innovation. In the empirical study, it uses the TOPSIS method which combines with theanalytic hierarchy process to analysis2005-2010technology innovationperformance of29industries from both horizontal and vertical aspects.the empirical results show that the technology innovation performance ofeach industry is a various difference, and transportation equipmentmanufacturing industry is the first, the poor one is mostly in lowvalue-added and low technology content industries; Except a fewindustries, manufacturing innovation performance and technology densityis positively correlated; Chinese manufacturing technology innovationperformance in2005-2010show increasing trend. Finally, according to theresult of empirical analysis, the author provides some practical referencesuggestions.
