The Path Research On The Optimization And Upgrading Of Industrial Structure Of Yangtze River Delta Region

With thirty years of reform and opening, Chinese economy has made tremendous development. At present, Chinese GDP ranked second in the world surpassing Japanese. Especially in the Yangtze River Delta, it has been the first economic circle in China. However, with its rapid economic growth in the Yangtze River Delta region, many problems within the industrial structure have become more apparent. For example, low level of science and technology innovation, low penetration of high-tech industry to traditional industry, low level of industrial structure grade, lack of planning of coordination of various industries within the region, and etc. All of the problems resulted in the low labor productivity in the material sector, hindered the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure, and set up obstacles for the integration of development. The paper aims to identify the problems that exist in the industrial structure of the Yangtze River Delta, to seek a suitable path of industrial structure optimization and upgrading, in order to achieve the strategic objectives of smooth development of integration of the region.The article starts from the deindustrialization theory, contrasted with the economic indicators, making a systematic analysis of the status of the industrial structure of the Yangtze River Delta region. At present, Shanghai has been in the deindustrialization. Although Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces still in the process of industrialization, the early clues of deindustnalization have occured. According to the international experience, the process of deindustnalization may be accompanied by the upgrading of industrial structure, may also resulted in hollowing out. In order to accelerate the pace of industrial upgrading in the operating mechanism of the positive deindustnalization in the Yangtze River Delta region and avoid the negative deindustrialization, on the basis of the relevant theory and practical cases, the article goes deep to analyse the problems in the industrial development of the region, take deindustrialization theory and practical experience as a guide, and promote the path of optimization and upgrading of industrial structure. In the paper, we conclude that the Yangtze River Delta region should make full use of the advantages of deindustrialization, and avoid the industrial economy premature recession, while the service sector expanded more rapidly in the low labor productivity, promoting the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure. Specifically, We should enhance the labor productivity in future, make an emphasis on improving the technological innovation capability of the material sector, enhance the intensity of the penetration of high-tech industries of traditional industries, improve the resource utilization efficiency, cultivate potential shares of high-tech manufacturing, deepen the industrial division of labor, give full play to the advantages of the two provinces and one city, coordinate the region development, pay attention to the high-quality talent cultivation, development and mobile.
