The development of information technology and the rise of online shopping putforward China aquaculture e-commerce development. By investigation and business modelanalysis of China aquaculture e-commerce sites, we find that China aquaculturee-commerce shows obvious geographic market and most sites are information platform,those websites with trading function are rare. Regarding to consumption feature of Chinaaquatic product, fresh aquatic products are dominant, regional distribution is imbalance, theage structure of the consumption is40-50and there is wide gap between urban and ruralconsumption. Regarding to the trend of e-commerce, e-commerce is changing fromintegrated portal to professional subdivision platform and from entertainment and news totrading platform. It also provides huge potential for aquaculture e-commerce so that it cantake advantage of web information to realize online tradingOwing to the regional features of China aquatic product consumption and the agedifference of China aquatic products consumption group, we advocate to do verticalintegration of the industrial chain in order to turn to aquatic products retail e-commercefrom industrial chain. to cooperate with professional third-party logistics to advance thestorage and transportation ability of aquatic product especially fresh aquatic product, toshorten supply chain as far as possible so as to use information flow to drive the businessflow and logistics from supply chain, to take aquatic products wholesale markets as the keypoint to build third-party e-business platform from value chain, and to make good use ofcluster advantage, brand effect, channel advantages and existing customer scale of aquaticproducts wholesale market to carry out e-commerce based on information and tradingservice. Information service is priority to B2B platform, mainly for aquatic products rawmaterial purchase, supply and related enterprise, at the same time, the information isintegrated as internal prices data, and take advantage of client resources to form networkscale effect; trading service is priority to e-mall, and to change the shop from aquaticproducts wholesale markets directly into suppliers of online shopping, and to sale theproduct to the end consumer. What’s more, Based on this idea, this paper design China aquatic e-commerce model, the key model is online-reservation system, aquatic productclassification system and return and replacement management system, quality control ofthese systems can ensure fresh products quality and save time cost of delivery. In addition,we take “fishery online shopping” of Zhoushan International aquatic wholesale for example,combined with SWOT analysis, we discuss its development orientation, business modeland improvement strategies.
