The purchaser is urgent to make management measures and analyze the reasons caused the existing situation.Based on the above background, the paper aims at improving the purchase management situation of nuclear emergency diesel device, and starts research on the case of emergency diesel purchase management in Hongyanhe nuclear power plant, via the related theories such as purchase project management, risk management and process management etc. First of all, the description of the case introduces the background, the situation of relevant enterprises and the current situation of purchase project management in details; in addition, in the analysis of the case, it analyzes the existing problems of purchase process, and proposes the problems such as unworkable competition of supply market, incomplete evaluation of suppliers, lacking risk management system of purchase, and lacking feedback system of purchase management; finally, it proposes countermeasures and suggestions for administrative department and purchaser via using means such as risk management of purchase and process management.The case study on purchase project management of nuclear power emergency diesel generators, will be helpful to improve the competition of device supply market and the purchase project management level of purchaser; and then promote the realization of supply process and quality aims of equipment, and provide experience and reference to other nuclear power projects and other equipment purchase at the same time.
