Risk Evaluation And Research Based On Process Management For Automotive Spares Supplier

With the development of global economy and constant reform of China's automobile industry, spare parts business are gradually separated from automobile enterprises which are increasing the rate of purchasing parts in the meanwhile. It has become the main current of integration of supply system, shortening the product development cycle, developing strong relationship with suppliers and transferring from outcome orientation to process orientation. As the growing competitive development of automotive industry, the ways to scientifically manage the suppliers, efficiently evaluate the risk of supplier, assist supplier to decrease or remove risks and make continuous improvements are what vehicle enterprises have to resolve.The paper describes the background, target and research significance of the topic, makes a systematical summarization of current research achievements on supplier selection, risk evaluation and process control which scholars made from domestic and overseas. And also discuss about the research content, drawn up the research methods route. This paper offers theoretical foreshadowing regarding supplier chain and supplier process management and puts forward 7 first-level 28 second level risk assessment indexes based on consulting the literatures and Delphi method as well as combining the reality of vehicle enterprises and suppliers, invites experienced experts from procurement and supplier management to compare the importance of risk indexes and confirm the index weight, create supplier risk evaluation model and detail the evaluating steps. Moreover, this paper verifies the risk rank of supplier based on Equal-Risk-Curve method. In order to prove the efficiency of the model, takes M as an example to evaluate M's supplier, makes some suggestions in respect to decrease or prevent supplier risk. At last, the paper concludes the whole research thought and purposes some defects, also the research need to be done in the future.From the view of process management, the paper discuss about supplier risk factors directly related to scope of supply. The supplier risk evaluation model established has application and reference value to manage supplier or assess the supplier for vehicle enterprise.
