Investigation Analysis And Study Of Energy Saving Of Chengdu Railway Bureau

Compared with other transportations like air or road, railway transportation has its unique advantages, and consequently, China’s railway transportation developed rapidly in recent years. The overall energy consumption of rail transporting companies is huge, making it very important to analyze the work of energy conservation in these companies. In this paper, a survey of the Chengdu Railway Bureau has created the model to evaluate energy consumption and energy saving work of Chengdu Railway Bureau, the main contents are as follows.1.By doing literature research firstly concerning the general situation of energy consumption in railway transport companies, suitable methods and aspects in this survey were obtained in order to make a successful investigation.2.Then information about energy consumption, energy-saving measures, the unit transportation workload and energy-saving management system was collected by survey on site. Results of collation and statistical analysis of these data obtained by above work showed the unit energy consumption of Chengdu Railway Bureau has declined attributed to energy saving measures and energy-saving management system.3.A model related to input-output analysis with respect to energy consumption was established finally and the following two aspects were studied intensively.(1) Energy consumption coefficient matrix were created by calculating distribution of major sources of energy like electricity, diesel. coal in locomotives, production and living aspects within Chengdu Railway Bureau. The matrix was comparatively analyzed later. Then, conclusions were drawn that the energy saving work of Chengdu Railway Bureau in the future should focus on power and locomotives. And the evolution of energy consumption in China shows a trend of substitute for oil with power.(2)9evaluation indicators were selected according to the result obtained in this survey and they were distinguished by the calculation of the weight of each index. Using efficacy coefficient method, comprehensive evaluation score of energy saving performance of Chengdu Railway Bureau is0.6022which is a qualified result. Recommendations for energy saving work of Chengdu Railway Bureau were made according to our research.
