Matrix Enterprises Knowledge Management Implementation Model Research

Now, the role of knowledge management has been widely recognized, to implement the knowledge management can improve the efficiency of business operations, accelerate the pace of innovation and adaptation to market, so that an invincible position can be remained in fierce market competition, however, contrary to generally agree that status of the concept of knowledge management, many enterprises and organizations seem dazed and confused to answer the question how to implement knowledge management. So an bottleneck has been occurred.So in such in such a context, I participate in a consulting firm, and together with the consultant to carry out the implementation of a knowledge management project for an a real estate assessment agency in Tianjin. Followed the consulting team to participate in the investigation on current situation, knowledge management system design and development status and etc. At the same time, I have studied a large number of cases of domestic and foreign on knowledge management implementation. During this period, I found that the demand for knowledge management has close ties with business growth stage. The vast majority of companies implemented knowledge management have developed to a certain scale and to carry out the project management, the Matrix structure enterprises demand knowledge management more strongly. Though there are some limitations, the research on knowledge management implementation of the matrix structure enterprises has great value.This article firstly researched both domestic and foreign methodology about KM implementation, and describe the root of how the organization structure developed and then, analyzed the influence of the matrix enterprise management processes and business processes of enterprises. Secondly, with the consideration of the characteristics of the matrix enterprise and both the EU and Chinese KM models, built a business process oriented knowledge management implementation model. First, according to the company’s business processes to organize corporate knowledge, to form a knowledge map, then design a variety of knowledge management services for the enterprises themselves need, then achieve a variety of knowledge management services through a knowledge management system. And then complete the whole process of implementation of knowledge management.
