| Nowadays, China is emerging the period of transition economy, all kinds of changes make the uncertain environment has become the normal state of working life. To people who work in organizations, the changing style of work and life asks employees have to make sustainable response to the call of the uncertainty of work environment. To organizations itself, the uncertain environment strengthens the need for flexibility of organization. Conversely, the changing style of work-life and the improving requirements of organizational flexibility put highly requirements and performances to organizations and employees. Actually, all these needs put by changes are job stress. No matter to the health of employees or the productivity of work, the high intensity of job stress is always linked with the negative influences. Therefore, the exploration to job stress is useful to balance employees’work and life, to help manager understand the influencing factors of job stress, and to weaken the negative effects of job stress.This paper explores the moderating effects of positive affect and job security upon the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction. Based on the1,091employee samples from Pearl River Delta of Guangdong Province, we made an empirical study to test our theoretical model. Research results show that job stress and job satisfaction has significantly negative correlation; positive affect has weakening effects on the significantly negative correlation between job stress and job satisfaction; job security has weakening effects on the significantly negative correlation between job stress and job satisfaction.Based on research results and management practices, this paper discussed the conclusion and implication of this empirical study. Meanwhile, this paper discussed the limitations of this empirical study. |
