To a great extent, the core competence of a modern company depends on thehuman resource it has. According to the20/80principle,80%of the profit was madeby20%of the employees. Whether these core employees can be maintained has astrong influence on the companies, especially the hi-tech companies. So it is verysignificantly urgent for them deal with the problem.Usually speaking, it is the core employees that master the core technologies andskills needed by a company. Furthermore, they are responsible for the handling therelationship with important clients and main affairs of a company. In a word, they playa irreplaceable role in the long-term development of a company. As a result of this,human resource management gradually becomes a major concern of moderncompanies and institutions.The article consists five parts: the first part is a introduction. In the first chapter,the background, the purpose, the content, the technical route and method of theresearch are briefed;Nowadays, companies are paying more and more attention to the management ofcore employees. The wastage of core employees will possibly result in the increasingtotal cost and deprive a company of the ability to compete with its rivals, even leadingto its bankruptcy. In view of these, companies must spare no effort to maintain theircore employees. To achieve this goal, they have to lay emphasis on the careerplanning, performance management, reward management etc. of these employees.Besides, a good organizational culture contributes to equipping the employees with asense of mission which can enhance their motives to remain in the company anddevote himself to the development of the company. A company good at managing itshuman resource can certainly attract more excellent talents to join in.
