| The Chinese commercial banks in recent years have proposed networktransformation because of the current difficulties and strategic thinking of the reality.Facing the more than2.6million corporate customers and320million individualcustomers, they try various ways to carry out the network transformation, to performthe quality control, and provide customers with the more convenient, and excellentfinancial services in order to strengthen their core competitiveness which theAgricultural Bank of China must face, think and solve. The grass-roots networktransformation of Agricultural Bank of China is completed through diagnosticanalysis, classification design, pilot import stage. In the first place, it tries to create amodel network in a sub-branches and taking it as a blue print, the model is duplicatedand spread in accordance with the principle required by the network transformationprojects, on full project management, the whole process of transplantation, the wholeprocess of control, all-round start, a unified visual image, unified functional layout,unified business processes, unified service standards, unified management practices.In such a way, it preliminarily builds up a modern commercial banking system ofmarketing services taking the customers as a center and progressively reachesnetwork transformation goals for the network classification, customer segmentation,functional partitioning, service hierarchical business and product distribution.Quality management is the important work in the commercial bank branchtransformation, which is related to the improvement of economic efficiency andcompetitiveness of commercial banks. China’s banking industry in qualitymanagement and is still poor compared with that of the advanced international banks.Successful quality management theory in the network transformation process has notyet achieved the expected result and there are still many problems in the Bank qualitymanagement theory in practice. The Agricultural Bank of China must face theproblems such as how to eliminate the fluctuation in the quality management, andfully expand the space for improving quality management. Branch transformation of quality management is a series of interrelated activities. Six Sigma from a point of theprocess and improving the network quality management in transition will focus ontwo aspects of the transformation of the hardware and software to beef up the wholeprocess of management of the core competitiveness of the implementation of theAgricultural Bank of China. The unique concept and the flexible implementation ofthe ideas of the Six Sigma quality management system are in line with thecharacteristics of network transition, quality management and can provide a numberof methods and ideas to manage the process of branch transformation. The Paper,using the literature study, comparative study, actual cases analysis and other methods,and starting from quality management in transition in the bank branches, will discussthe applicability of Six Sigma philosophy and methodology of the qualitymanagement of the branch transformation, the problems concerned aboutimplementation process and the influence to the Agricultural Bank of China given bySix Sigma strategies for quality improvement. Based on the DMAIC model the paperwill also discuss the improvement on the existing network quality managementprocesses in transition and the ways to improve the ideas, as well as the methods andsteps in the process.The study on the application of the quality of project management incommercial banks,network transformation is a kind of the basic, significant work ofdevelopment strategy in the current domestic large commercial banks. To adapt to themarket changes, the domestic large state-owned listed banks have to carry outnetwork transformation in order to strengthen their market competitive capacity. Sothe study on the application in the project quality of project management incommercial bank branch transformation is of great social and business significance.Taking, for example, a branch of Agricultural Bank branch transformation project,byusing the modern project management, quality basic theory and methods andcombining with the author’s knowledge of the Agricultural Bank of China aboutbuilding a branch network and his deep analysis and study on the factors influencingthe quality met in the transition process of network, this paper put forward someexploratory strategies and solutions for the problems in the fields of qualitymanagement standard, quality control and supervisory implementation of quality management and sustaining development. |
