The social insurance fund is the material basis and very important in social securitysystem. This is of great significant .It looks like the relief valve in high pressure and a shockabsorber in the automobile. The social insurance fund means life insurance money for most ofthe people in old age or at the loss of ability to work. So it not only relates to the rights andinterests of the people who pay for social insurance ,but also does help to social stability. Inthis regard, the Chinese have had a great lesson. Therefore, to build a healthy social insurancefund supervision system is an effective measure to solve the problem. It is the best choice ofsocial insurance system for sustainable development.At present, the social insurance fund faces many security challenges. Strengthening thesocial insurance fund supervision is particularly important. This essay, tells about the basictheories on social insurance and a series of useful experience of the developed countries, andsummarizes the gains and losses in the social insurance supervision. In addition, in this essay,taking Weifang as an example, the author suggests we can use the foreign successfulexperience as a reference, to perfect social insurance fund legal system and supervisionsystem on our national condition. It includes two issues: The first is about the pattern of social insurancefund: the administrative supervision plays an important role, audit supervision and socialsupervision also do help in the pattern. The second is about the way of our fund supervision:Site supervision and non-spot supervision. The author analyses the situation of our currentsupervision, and points out the main defect. In chapter 3, the author compares our currentsupervision system with foreign countries. Analyse supervision system of foreign counties,such as Singapore and the United States, maybe we can learn from it. In chapter 4, taking the example of Weifang, the author tells about the details and existing problems of socialinsurance fund supervision. In chapter 5, the author makes many suggestions on completingour social insurance fund supervision. The following are main contents: speeding up to fundthe legal system about social security, perfecting the supervision system, keeping the fundappreciating, and setting up an“independent supervision system”, that is the third-party insupervision system.
