The concrete is one of the important materials in the construction market, with the many drawbacks appearing in the site mixing of concrete, many cities began to develop ready-mixed concrete actively, mainly due to its stable quality, the short duration, advanced technology and the characteristic of environmental protection. Much more capital flows into the ready-mixed concrete market owing to the hot real estate market and construction field since this century. In the fierce market competition, the industry will be faced with many opportunities and threats undoubtedly.This thesis first reviews some theories of the development strategies of domestic and foreign enterprises, and then analyzes the present situation and the current problems the CREC ready-mixed concrete company encountered. According to the characteristic which ready-mixed concrete company can only participate in regional competition in the market, based on the local market in Chengdu, the thesis researched on the external macro environment and industrial environment of CREC ready-mixed concrete company by making use of PEST analysis tool of the corporate strategic management theory and Porter’s Five Forces Analysis Model, then the thesis analyzes the internal environment of the CREC ready-mixed concrete company through the value chain method, finally the SWOT matrix is established by analyzing the company’s external opportunities and threats, internal strengths and weaknesses. At last, the thesis poses the strategic thinking of the company’s overall cost leadership through the integrated product features and the internal and external environment analysis, it also suggests that the company should strengthen the construction of information technology and corporate culture construction, improve the capabilities of the research and development of products, enhance equipment reliability, improve cost control to strengthen the core competence of enterprises. The thesis puts forward many helpful suggestions that the company should make good use of their own advantages and favorable policies to seize the opportunity to develop, but also avoid the risks that enterprises may face by overcoming their own weaknesses.
