In recent years, with the great efforts of national policy, China's ready-mixed concrete industry has made great development, but in the face of development opportunities, the imbalance development in regions has also brought many problems. China's ready-mixed concrete industry takes on that there are lots of enterprises but small. It is the pattern of a low concentration.Some developed regions have disorderly competition and vicious competition seriously.At present, the ready-mixed concrete industry in Sichuan Province has a relatively good development. But with the deterioration of competition in the industry, the ready-mixed concrete enterprises in Sichuan province will be also facing with enormous challenges. It will become the most important issue to give full play to their strengths, overcome weaknesses, to maintain survival and steady development in the fierce market competition. Meanwhile, in the environment of the reconstruction and the great western development, it is also an important problem to use this chances which the concentration is low, in order to achieve rapid development stronger avoid falling into the vicious competition. Therefore, it has become a serious issue for these enterprises how to consider their own development direction and development strategies to meet the opportunities and challenges.According to the analysis of the ready-mixed concrete industries and erterprises, this paper attempts to take HSC as a case, taking use of strategic management theories and methods, using case study method and qualitative and quantitative combination to respond to new changes, establish a development strategy analysis. This discussion is provided for enterprises and the relevant departments for reference.In first, this paper introduces the development of the ready-mixed concrete industry in our country, and some problems which the ready-mixed concrete enterprises are facing. According to the external environment thoughts in strategic management, by using strategic management theory and methods such as PEST, Porter's five forces model of competition to analyse environmental factors whick are affecting the ready-mixed concrete companies in Sichuan province, and then by using of CPM, customer value matrix analysis Chengdu region market. At last, evaluate the external environment the ready-mixed concrete companies in Sichuan province with the EFE matrix.Based on the analysis of the external environment, this paper takes the HSC as the typical case to analyze its interal resources, capabilities, value chain and get its internal strengths and weaknesses.Then by using SWOT, QSPM such as analysis and evaluation tools for strategic matching and strategic choices to get HSC company overall strategic positioning and effective competitive strategy. That is, "bigger, doing fine, and stronger, doing excellent"; the positive development of related product diversification, focusing on the development of pre-stressed pipe pile, aerated concrete and other cement-based products; properly and carefully to develop other products in the field of building materials, Simply summarizing as "One center, two keys ". For the reacy-mixed concrete, it should be used differentiation strategy and low-cost strategy to promote the market development strategy. For the related product diversification, we should base in-house development, and take flexible use of merger and alliance.Learn from the above analysis; get the conclusion of this paper. The ready-mixed concrete enterprises in Sichuan province taking strategic analysis and strategic choices should focus on the following directions:the reacy-mixed concrete enterprises in Sichuan province should be developed with caution and avoid blind expansion of production capacity; at the same time it is committed to improving product overall competitiveness; actively pursuing the diversification of commercial concrete-related products; the ready-mixed concrete enterprises in Sichuan province should take scientific and rational way to reduce material consumption and lower production consumption, trying to combine technological innovation and management innovation with construction of resource-saving and environment-friendly enterprises closely to establish management system of moder enterprise and achieve sustainable development of enterprises.This study is limited to a single case. The selected case is difficult to represent the whole of Sichuan ready-mixed concrete business. It belongs to the research of the nature of exploring. The application of research findings must think about the actual situation of different enterprises, we must master the relevant environmental factors and conduct a comparative analysis of carefully.
