Study On The Intensive Land Use And Potential Assessment Of Economic Development Ereas In LianJiang City,Guangdong Province

As the key areas of the current urban development and land use, development zone has become the base of industrial upgrading, the driving engine of regional development and technological innovation, which is expected to become the important pillar of country’s economy, regional economy, and the city’s economy. However, in the land use of development zone, many issues have not been effectively resolved. Undoubtedly the potential of intensive land use in development zone have been put in a significant strategy place. Studying on scientific assessment of this potential, making efforts to change the extensive land use situation and establish the intensive and highly efficient land use pattern of development zones is turning into a hot issue which is focused on by domestic and overseas land resource administrative organization.In the land use process of domestic development zone, there ara some serious problems, such as the less intensive utilization rate, inefficiency of land use, land idle or waste, irrational structure of land use and so on, because of lacking of proper industrial planning and policy guidance, less attention and insufficient research force. This facts influence critically the economic benefits of development zone. With the thriving of domestic development zone and the innovating of management concept about land use from the"extensive and inefficient"to"intensive and efficient", scientific assessment of land use potential will become the indispensable components of macro-control and policy-making.The LianJiang economic development zone of GuangDong built in1997,after several years operation, have made remarkable achievements in the scientific planning, intensive development and economic and social benefits. Therefore, the paper studies on the assessment of intensive land use potential theoretically and practically about LianJiang economic development zone in GuangZhou. Firstly, it introduces the current situation and development tendency of domestic and overseas land assessment, and then, analyzes the general situation, problems and influencing factor of land use. Secondly, the assessment index system of intensive land use potential is established comprehensively. Finally, using the model of multi-factor comprehensive assessment and fuzzy comprehensive assessment, it is possible to analyze and assess the intensive land use potential of LianJiang economic development zone.The result is reasonable and consistent with the fact, indicating that these methods are feasible and also useful for reference to the congener research.The progresses of this thesis gotten are as follows:(1)Based on the country’s technical proposal, the assessment index system of intensive land use potential is established according to the characteristics of development zone’s land use. The methods which are combined qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, comprehensive assessment with typical analysis, field survey with statistical analysis, are made the result more scientifically.(2)Using simple models, the multi-factor comprehensive evaluation model and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model combined with a comparative study on the evaluation results, enhanced comprehensive evaluation of the credibility, to make assessment results more scientific and accurate.(3)Using remote sensing and field data in order to ensure comprehensive evaluation, and some data was obtained through field investigation, for the evaluation of land use intensification potential source of data means more information.
