Develop Strategy Of Modern Logistics Industry Of Nanjing Based On Soft Systems Methodology

In recent years, with the economic globalization and the rapid development of the modern information technology, the modern logistics industry has become one of industries which has great potential to develop in basic industries of urban economy and the tertiary industry. In order to meet the future needs of logistics and solve the problems caused by the rapid development of the modern logistics industry, the soft systems methodology has been introduced to find the future developing strategies of the modern logistics industry of Nanjing.On the basis of the modern logistics theory and regional logistics theory, the current development situation of modern logistics industry of Nanjing has been described firstly from three aspects such as logistics scale, infrastructure development status and transportation services development status. Secondly, the future logistics needs of Nanjing has been predicted, and the need to enhance the development of modern logistics industry of Nanjing has been emphasized. After that, the soft system methodology has been used to provide the future developing strategies of the modern logistics industry. With describing development status of modern logistics industry of Nanjing and applying the soft system methodology, the developing strategies of modern logistics industry of Nanjing have been proposed finally from modern logistics service supply, city logistics nodes and the logistics information system.
