Recently, with the improvement of the domestic economy constantly, our country hasrecognized the important role of logistics fully in transforming the pattern of economicdevelopment and driving the growth of national economy. But many areas pay much attentionto the speed of logistics development, and ignoring the rational and pragmatic understandingof Equilibrium. Phenomena such as blind investment and over-investment have even appearedin some areas, which not only affected the orderly development of the logistics market, butalso caused a lot of waste of regional resources and funding. So, it becomes a pressingproblem to understand the regional logistics equilibrium running situation accurately.According to this, the paper tries to make a comparison between different regional logisticssystem from the perspective of logistics equilibrium.According to the logical thinking from theory to practice, this article compared thebalanced running of regional logistics system by using theoretical research and practicalmethod and combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis. Then a case study wasmade. The specific research includes:1)According to the relevant contents of equilibrium, thespecific meaning of logistics equilibrium which called three-dimensional structure of staticequilibrium, dynamic equilibrium level and equilibrium running effects was put forward onthe basis of regional logistics system. And then the paper elaborated the relation between theequilibrium and logistics system, gave the operation mechanism of regional logisticsequilibrium;2)The comparative model of regional logistics system including index and methodof regional logistics system was built. The article constructed this index system from theperspective of logistics equilibrium when designing the relative index. The system includedthree secondary indexes, nine tertiary indicators and twenty observation point of tertiary index. The method could be realized by introducing improved radar chart. The improvement includesthe division of comparative index axis based on the weight and improvements on characteristicvector;3)The model was applied to two specific research objects: the Northeast industrial baseof China and South Africa. The comparative index system designed in this paper is suitable for horizontalcomparison of logistics equilibrium among different countries, different economic regions and different logistics parks. On one hand, this model enriches relative theories of regionallogistics, on the other hand, it provides the decision reference for relevant departments toknow the balanced running situation of their own logistics system.
