Employee satisfaction is directly related to production safety and economic benefits in the coal industry, therefore, research on employee satisfaction has important theoretical and practical significance to improve the level of enterprise management, economic benefits and production safety in the coal industry.Based on introducing usual satisfaction research methods and measurement tools, at first, the article conducted a survey to the24factors that affect employee satisfaction by the method of structural equation model, setting research object as x coal mine employees in Henan province, based on the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire, with the help of the company’s human resources department. Second, the article studied survey data by the method of structural equation modeling and factor analysis, in which the article focused on analyzing six secondary indicator that make up employee satisfaction, that is work return, work groups, work, work history, enterprise management, development prospects.Finally, according to the research conclusions, the article targeted related recommendations:(1) Establishing reasonable salary and welfare system;(2) Improving staff training and promotion system;(3) Establishing a harmonious atmosphere of communication to make the staff involve in management;(4)Improving the performance appraisal mechanism in order to let everyone do what he was made for.
