Research On The Six Sigma Project Selection Based On TOPSIS Method

In the increasingly fierce competition today, the comprehensive competitiveness ofenterprise is the key factor for success, the quality of enterprise services andproducts provided by corporate soft power. In order to meet the increasingly stringentquality of service requirements and customer loyalty, some well-known domestic enterpriseswill have six sigma management into enterprise management， and have achievedcertain results. After many executive case and related study shows, the key to the success isto correct selection of Six Sigma project.This paper will be review Six Sigma project selection from the domestic and foreignscholars, discussing the significance and the feasibility based on the current research.Pointed out the Six Sigma project selection have not formed a set of relatively reasonablesystem theory and method in the existing research results. Through analysis and research ofthe former research results, this article analyze the impact of Six Sigma project selectionfactors systematically, from the Six Sigma Balanced Scorecard Principle, through financial,customer, internal business process, and learning and growth in four dimensions to establishthe Six Sigma management framework，through consulting with quality managementexperts, preselection of relevant indicators to construct the evaluation system based on SixSigma Balanced Scorecard and Six Sigma project selection model.Through this evaluation system, this paper will TOPSIS (Technique for OrderPreference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) into the Six Sigma project selection,construction of the TOPSIS method of Six Sigma project selection, evaluation model, themethod can make the best use of raw data, eliminate dimension effect, objective response tochoose plan, while different preferences coefficients were also discussed.Finally， on the basis of the evaluation model, after empirical analysis， verify thefeasibility and operability of the model， provides a useful reference for corporate SixSigma project selection, for six sigma project selection research and enhance thecomprehensive competitiveness of enterprises have great theoretical and practicalsignificance.
