As one of the key solutions for enterprise’s globalization, product localization is thebest way to reduce the cost,improve the profitbility and increase the market share intoday’s competition.Obviously,projects of elevator localization have been carried out with the character ofproject management in this particular industry area.And meanwhile,a proper schedule planis the key to determine the duration for the product launch.It does not only affect thestability of the project progressing but also to be recoganized as a base for the enterprise’sstrategic decision.Apart from well controlling the scheduling risk,the study in this article on theoptimized method of schedule planning for elevator product localization can alsosignificantly shorten the project timing,which would be a great help for the enterprise torelease the product within a expected time.Thus a ideal market and profit effectiveness canbe achieved.In details,by setting the elevator localization as the research background,this studyfirstly figures out the resource constraints that are often apprearing to exist,and thenanalize their effects on the probability of project completion, base on that to point out theshortage of networking plan method which is normally used. In order to solve theseproblems, the critical chain method is introduced.It is based on a theory of systematicoptimization but not for the partial one,by recoganizing the limit of resource capacity andultilizing the method of RBPC to look for the critical path.It also takes the humanbehavior into the account of reducing task timing to shorten the whole project schedule.Meanwhile,it also find the way of the scheduling control by setting a proper buffer toabsorbing the risk which is caused by unexpected factors.At the end, the effiectivness ofthis method is proved by a real case application.The purpose of this study is to introduce a new way of schedule planning for theelevator companies’product localization,and also to meet their demand in an operationallevel.
