In recent years, as a kind of informatization, intelligent self-service ticketing,china railway automatic ticket vending system has been widely used in china railway,and gradually become one of the very important means. The rapid development ofapplication of scale and volume of business of the railway automatic ticketing systemput forward higher requirements on the reliability of the system. This article analyzesthe architecture, operational status and development trends of the railway automaticticket vending system, builds a reliability analysis model of china railway automaticticket vending system according to the basic principles of software reliabilityengineering. Based on reliability analysis of existing systems, several new methodscan be further researched to improve the reliability of system. The main contents ofthe article are as follows:1. We present a new method to improve the reliability that optimizing thearchitecture of railway automatic ticket vending system. It establishes service clustersystem on the server side by using the load balancer, when each system modulefailure probability remains a stable. This method can effectively extend Mean Timebetween Failure (MTBF), and improve the reliability and availability of system.2. It is the second method to establish a monitor of railway automatic ticketvending system. The monitor can solve the problem brought about by reliability of thesystem brought about by the abnormal SC, system resource occupied excessively ordatabase performance degradation. This approach helps the repairman to understandreal-time work status of the system and maintain the system problem timely, so as toprolong the Mean Time between Failure and enhance the reliability and availability ofthe system.3. To solve the difficult problem for maintenance of the railway automatic ticketvending system, we proposed the establishment of railway automatic ticket vendingsystem fault diagnosis expert subsystem. The method is able to find the point ofsystem failure as soon as possible, and propose some solutions to the problem. This method reduces the difficulty of maintenance work and the time required for systemmaintenance, improves the reliability of railway automatic ticket vending system.
