Based on research of Narrative theory, it istold us how to telling stories.In China, there are huge number of local station investigative reporting, eachprovincial local station have their own news channel,and almost each of them havedepth reports program, for example, BTV’s 《The world every day talk》, ShangHaiTV’s 《news perspective》, FuZhou TV’s 《Attention》etc. They are concerned aboutthe social hot at the same time made their have similar topics and resemble contents.In the competition, many programs disappeared because of the downturn ratings.As a file of serious television news program, the《Investigative Journalism》keepflourishing in last16years, shows this program have a continue value of explore andresearch, study the program features, explore why its success, has a practicalsignificance.In this essay, it used narrative analysis and case analysis, combination ofquantitative research and qualitative research, to study the TV narrative in《Investigative Journalism》 as a starting point, more depth case analysis fromnarrative point, using narrative theory as the theoretical basis, with specific examplesanalysis, analyzed the 《Investigative Journalism》 narrating characteristic fromnarrator, narrative point of view, narrative time, narrative space, narrative structure etc. Answer the questions “how to develop the TV investigative reporting”. By analyzing,providing narrative methods which can be studing for domestic similar programs.In this essay, there has the following characteristics and innovation:Firstly, new research perspective. The article is based on the Narratology, depthstudy of 《Investigative Journalism》, extensive using case studies, to get rid of asimple list of narrative theory. The case analysis of 《Investigative Journalism》,can establish an excellent example, to provide guidance the Chinese TV investigativereporting, it directly have theoretical value and practical benefit.
