Research On The Characteristics Of Investigative Reporting In The Papers

The new media has the characteristics of "pan-communication" and "information fragmentation".Therefore,although it carries massive information,it lacks real high quality in-depth reports.As a typical representative of the in-depth report,the investigative report ushered in a new development in the new media era of information flooding,and also shows new features.This article takes The Paper as the research object,and studies the new characteristics of the new media product as media convergence.This study's sample is from July 29,2014 to December 31,2014 and from January 1,2017 to June 1,2017,of The Paper's WeChat Official Account,in accordance with the definition of investigative report,through reading and screening,the total statistics of 76 research samples.Through content analysis and text analysis to study selected samples,and analyze the characteristics of investigative report of The Paper from three aspects: topic selection,interview characteristics and writing characteristics.Finally,summarizing the successful experience and shortcomings of the investigative reports of The Paper,and put forward corresponding suggestions as to provide some useful ideas for the development of investigative report in the new media environment.
