Wen Xuan, known as "the best of all the articles","the hotbed of the article", is compiled by Xiao Tong and has always been important for writers and scholars. It is the earliest exist collection of articles in the history of Chinese literature and contains762works of over130writers from Zhou, Qin to Song Dynasty. The two main notes of Wen Xuan, which spread to future generations, are "Li Shan Note" and "Five Ministers Note". Because of the plain content of "Five Ministers Note", many scholars underestimate its proper value. For a long time,"Five Ministers Note", as an important part in the study of Wen Xuan, does not get the objective positioning.Reference to Jian Yang Chen Ba Lang version of "Five Ministers Note" which is the most complete exist note, this article illustrates the distinguished value of "Five Ministers Note" from "Li Shan Note". It also makes reference to other notes, such as "Ming Zhou Note" and "You Ke Note". Integration on the basis of previous studies, this article summarizes the political and academic background of "Five Ministers Note" in the history. Specifically, reference to "the Note of Annotations Wen Xuan " of Lv Yan Zuo and the results of previous studies, it further summarizes and supplements the identity, annotation reason, ideas, and comment style of "Five Ministers". Through the process of overview to the existing "Five Ministers Note", it also studies the version source and nature of Chen Ba Lang version which is one of the most complete existing "Five Ministers Note". Specific research process starts from Chen Ba Lang version as a libretto, and also combines with the content study of "Ming Zhou Ben" and "You Ke Ben". It is evident that the value of Chen Ba Lang Version can not be ignored because it is an version which is transcribed from "Six Ministers Note" and combined with the factors of "Li Shan Note". At the same time, this article demonstrates the literature and collation value, impact and insufficiency of Chen Ba Lang version. We can see that, although Chen Ba Lang version of "Five Ministers Note" retains its original, but it is not the original. Nowadays in order to continue the further study of "Five Ministers Note", we need to recover the ancient "Five Ministers Note" of Wen Xuan.
