In April1912, the government moved to Beijing, and, in August of the same year, the Shun Pao began to publish the special newsletter. Then, the domestic political situation witnessed the republican constitution, Yuan Shikai centralized authoritarian, the restoration of the monarchy and warlord complicated situation. In a different political context, in the Beijing correspondent’s articles, it presented a different political scene for readers. Engraved on the political landscape of the depiction anchored,"the Beijing Special Newsletter "settled in the early Republican political communications and news media relations. As one of the major newspapers enterprise in Shanghai, the Shun Pao managed to remain the bellwether of the public opinion and catch up with the trend of social reform and changes to become a press of the elite in a leading position of the history. The second part centers on the period of republican political system when The Beijing Special Newsletter of Shun Pao constructed the current political landscape to expand investigations. The fall of the Qing court and the beginning of the Republic relaxed political environment to usher in a golden age of the Newspaper Industry. The Shun Pao preliminary design of special newsletter, as a mouthpiece of the political news in this period, described the political landscape under a republican constitution. The "Second Revolution" marked a turning point in the country’s political chaos, and the republican constitution was gradually twisted, which silenced the special newsletter for a short time.In the third part, the essays focuses on special newsletter of Yuan Shikai autocratic reign. During this period, the newsletters were written by Huang Yuansheng, who was known as the founder of the newsletter and once was a reporter of the Shanghai Times in Beijing. Huang Yuansheng described Yuan Shikai autocratic politics as vague. Due to Yuan Shikai imprisonment of speech, Yuansheng News Compilation took a cautious attitude towards politics expressed in an ambiguous rebuke, and real political situation constrainted Yuansheng’s voice in the newsletters. After the open restoration of the monarchy, the newsletters were forbidden. In the fourth, after Huang Yuansheng, the reporter Shao Piaoping acted as the successor the special newsletters. In this stage the Chinese regime was dominated by the warlords control and entered a period of warlord rule.
