The Usage Of Smart Phone In Medical Consultation

With the development of Mobile Internet Technology, the business of Internet is gradually migrating to smart phone platform. Since changing from data business to multimedia services, there is a huge demand and a broad market space. In addition, the improvement of computer processing speed and storage technology make a solid foundation for the rapidly development. In the past times, most of the mobile phones are limited to data business, such as SMS, GPRS and so on.But now, the combination of mobile Internet and multimedia applications have been widely used among the markets, such as video surveillance, video phone etc. All of the usages are highly welcomed.In this project, multimedia and mobile Internet technologies are extended to medical information environment. Doctors can treat the patients no matter where he is, even he is out of office.He can get patient’s status simply with a mobile phone.By using the Client application that can access the server of the hospital, doctors can get data of different patients, such as the everyday result of inspection. When it comes to ICU patients, they should be taken care carefully. The application provide two service, doctors not only can get the vital signs of patients in-time, but also can watch the patients situation at the same time.In this design, I firstly studied the key technology that would be used, Android platform programming, multimedia technology, video encoding and decoding technology. And then, open up a server that store different indexes of different patients which will be update timely. Doctors can complete patient management, intensive care, electronic medical records, CT data management, account settings, and a variety of functions at the same time by using the client.
