With the development of Internet technology, the multiplication of the data and a variety of needs of individuals and businesses, it is difficult for a separate system to meet the increasing requirements of computing power, storage capacity and the data processing as before. The increase of data storage and processing increases resource costs and operating pressure of Internet enterprises. Cloud Computing technology has become one of the best way to solve these problems. The usage of cloud computing can greatly reduce management costs while improving resource utilization.This paper focuses on the key technologies of cloud computing and builds cloud management platform based on openNebula, by combining with virtualization technology Xen. The hardware and software environments required to build a private cloud is researched and configured. Firstly, this paper builds a private cloud based on command line by using a set of tools provided by openNebula. Specific configuration scripts are written to complete the private cloud host management, image management and virtual machine management. Secondly, in order to facilitate user access to cloud resources, this paper use mainstream Web framework SSH to build private cloud in form of Web, including front-end resource pool management system as well as the back-end virtual machine management. It also designs resource API for users to utilize and detailed designs of key modules in the system framework. Finally, a new cloud platform performance evaluation model is proposed, evaluation framework by coding is finished, test cases to evaluate cloud web platform designed by this paper is written, the test data is analyzed and the conclusions are obtained.
