Cloud computing is a business model, it enable users to get resourse such as computingpower, sstorage space and information services on demand. Cloud computing distributescomputing tasks to a resource pool which constitutes by a large number of computers.Nowadays cloud computing has changed from an emerging technology to today’s hottechnology. Lots of major companies are working on cloud-based technologies or services.Cloud platform provides on-demand services for users, it greatly enhances the robustness andthe efficiency of system resource. What’s more, it reduces energy consumption. Cloudcomputing has changed the technical foundation of IT and makes a profound impact on thepattern of the whole industry. It’s a revolution in the IT industry.By studying the theoretical foundation and related technologies of cloud computing, thispaper proposes a cloud computing platform which orients IaaS service and sums up sevenfunctional components which are Web management system, reverse proxy and load balancing,virtual machine deployment and scheduling, system monitoring, control center, data sharingand image storage. This components can help to provide a cloud platform where users candeploy services flexibility.This paper designs and implements the platform based on OpenNebula and virtualizationtechnology. The platform provides a web management system and can expanse the physicalcluster flexiblely. What’s more, the platform has a web service oriented load balancingstrategy, a cluster monitoring system and a dynamic resource scheduling mechanism. Inaddition, a solution has been achieved for the problem of data sharing between virtualmachines. Users can deploy their different types of applicatons on the platform to takemaximize use of physical resource and greatly reduce the hardware and software maintenancecosts and other cost.
