Fieldbus Control System (FCS) is a multidisciplinary emerging technology, including intelligent sensor, automatic control, computer, communication and network technology. FCS has extensive application prospects in process automation, manufacturing automation, building automation, transportation, electric power and other fields so that it is referred to as the21st century’s most promising automation technology. The configuration software is used as platform tool for supervisory control and data acquisition software, including broad support of I/O devices, open data interface, communication, networking, real-time database, SCAD A, control algorithm and so on. It is an important component of fieldbus control system.This project is a part of the project-New Control System based on Industrial Ethernet and Fieldbus, which is organized by Department of Science&Technology of Shandong Province.First, design the software structure by combining the status quo and development trend of the configuration software and researching the functional requirements and implementation mechanism of Fieldbus Control System. Then, introduce the control algorithm configuration system and WEB publishing system of monitoring screen and report, especially the aspect of design model, data structure and algorithm.The major works of this paper are summarized as follows:The software is divided into relatively independent modules as the view of specific function and technical realization of Fieldbus Control System. Establish the overall design architecture of the configuration software.The software development model is Incremental Model, language is C++, platform is Windows2000and tool is Microsoft Visual Studio6.0.Data communication system of Configuration software is designed to realize the network real-time communication of I/O point, the historical data communication based on MicroSoft SQL Server2000, the real-time data communication based on memory database. Introduce the communication among the configuration system and range switching of data with different types. Apply ADO to accessing SQL Server and COM interface to accessing real-time database. All configuration software modules interact with Data communication.Control algorithm configuration system is designed for control algorithm graphical configuration which is running in field control station of the distribute control system. This system uses the Function Block Diagram, which is one of the five IEC61131-3standard languages, as the algorithm configuration language. In studying of graph theory, abstract the mathematical model that transfer graphic information to control algorithm data, and solve the problem by using improved Johnson algorithm and directed graph topology sorting algorithm. Based on requirements of the mathematical model to graphics information, design the class of Function Block Diagram, connection line and control algorithm loop. Introduce the communication between the configuration system and the field control station.WEB publishing system is designed to realize the remote monitoring configuration screen and reports. WEB publishing makes system information extend to the Internet application. The structure of system extends from the "Client/Server structure" to "Browser/Server structure". Apply DOM to dynamic display and interaction, XML to data exchange and related operations, XMLHttpRequest to asynchronous data query and retrieval and JavaScript to binding all things together. Introduce the way that Windows/IIS platform releases page.
