Design And Implementation Of Video Surveillance Scheme Based On Hierarchical SIP Structure

Network video surveillance system is getting more and more widely used, and market demand is growing. There are various system structures and their performance distinct a lot. This paper analyzes existing surveillance schemes, and makes a comparison of their performance from the aspect of reliability, availability and security. After this, a more reasonable solution is designed. In the process of networking, digitizing and intelligence, some key problem is showing up among current surveillance system:network building, front-end intelligence and video analysis.Aiming at these questions, this paper discussed the embedded implementation of video analysis algorithm, and designed a video surveillance scheme based on hierarchical SIP structure. Firstly, key technologies such as the system framework of current video surveillance systems are introduced. Secondly, the paper described the signaling functionality of session initiation protocol (SIP) from the aspect of message structure and operating procedure. In the meantime, session description protocol (SDP) and real-time transport protocol (RTP) is referred, which act as primary message body of SIP and synchronous transmission protocol respectively. Thirdly, a video surveillance scheme is designed based on hierarchical SIP structure; the scheme includes system topology, message routing method, login/accessing procedure, device connection method and list refreshing method, and a series of standard is drafted which involve message extension and data transmission. At last, to test and verify the scheme, main functionalities are implemented. The SIP signaling function is realized with SIP Servlet in the server side and C++protocol stack in the client side, and the multimedia function is achieved by encapsulating the libvlc library.This paper designed a manageable, extensible network video surveillance scheme based on hierarchical SIP server structure, it can be deployed into supermarkets. companies and urban roads for better protection of private property and public order.
