With the more development of modern mechanized production, Enterprises will use a large number of mechanical equipment in the production, since they often run in difficult conditions, breakdowns of the equipment will inevitably occur. In order to reduce the economic losses and improve the life safety, real-time vibration monitoring of the equipment, prediction and diagnosis of breakdowns is very important. The acquisition and analysis of vibration signal in breakdowns diagnosis is the most common and most diagnostic method. Therefore, the design and development of vibration signal acquisition system is of great significance. On the basis of the DSP technology and taking TMS320F2812chip as the core, the paper develops vibration signal acquisition system based on DSP. At last, taking parallel mechanism as the experimental object, this paper validates the system. It is proved that the system is successful.Firstly, the paper illustrates research background, significance and source of the subject, and then introduces the research status at home and abroad, the technology of DSP in order to develop the acquisition system based on the theories. The paper proposes the overall design scheme of the system, and the design focuses on two parts, lower computer design and host machine design.Secondly, the paper designs hardware circuit and software program of the lower computer system in detail. In the aspect of hardware design, the paper mainly designs boost-up circuit, constant current source circuit, signal conditioning circuit, minimum system of DSP, the A/D module and communication module circuit. Finally, according to the principle of each module circuit, the paper designs the schematic diagram and PCB diagram, and completes hardware circuit board of the system. In the aspect of software design, the paper mainly designs initial program of the system, program of A/D sampling, serial communication program with PC. The paper gives the flow chart of program and part of the program code on each module.Thirdly, taking Visual C++6.0and MATLAB R2009a as the tools, the paper develops vibration signal processing software of the host machine on the PC. The software uses Visual C++6.0to develop the users’operation interface, and utilizes MATLAB R2009a to store vibration data, which will be displayed in graphs and processed in time-domain algorithm.Finally, taking parallel mechanism as the experimental object, the paper applies research in the developed system. Through controlling the parallel mechanism with the developed system hardware in low and high speed condition, the system collects vibration data of the mechanism and processes data in time-domain algorithm. It concludes that vibration of the mechanism is bigger in high-speed motion than at low velocity. The system comprehensively analyzes the mechanism with different parameters of time domain in order to monitor vibrational state of the mechanism, forecast and diagnose breakdowns. Application results verify the developed vibration signal acquisition system is effective and successful.
