At present, the Chinese mobile internet has entered the era of3G. In addition to voice services, A wide range of other operating systems are also available. All services need a high speed carrier network. With the increasing service traffic, the limitation of the transmission efficiency of the traditional TDM-based transmission networks makes it unable to meet the current needs; therefore, it is difficult to adapt to various types of services demand for the high-speed growth of the bandwidth under the full-service operations. Consequently, this has brought huge transmission cost pressure on the service provider and has become the choke point in the development of3G services. Currently, services are on different networks include the combination of SDH/MSTP, switches, routers and other equipments; maintenance organization of service provider is divided on the basis of specific areas. It is difficult to meet the demand that multi-services are in one network so as to lower the operating costs. In this case, it is particularly important to develop a more flexible, more efficient, lower-cost packet transport platform for unified bearer.Dalian telecom IP RAX is the experimental bureau network of Liaoning telecom. The network is an integrated access network which is based on metropolitan area network of Dalian telecom. The key technical feature of the network is MPLS. The node B in the network is based on IP technology. This paper first introduces the basic knowledge of MPLS, in view of the present situation of the transmission network and different transmission models, and proposes a variety of solutions which make IP RAN network construction more selective. This paper intends to use the PW-L3VPN network mode and deploys different routing protocols to investigate the risk of the network under various network problems. It focuses on the networking solutions and strategies in different scenarios and stages of the RAN IP-based ground access network, and explores how MPLS technology is to be adopted to upgrate smooth network to provide users with a better3G wireless network.Based on the IP RAN experimental bureau network of Dalian telecom, this paper conducts the research and testaments of the physical topology of the network, service carrier planning, routing and MPLS tunnel planning. It verifies the actual carrying capacity of the IP RAN network and puts forward the IP RAN network designs with high reliability, high stability and high scalability, networking modes, business requirements and security programs, and verifies the feasibility of telecom services such as voice AG, L2/L3VPN, and other business via the IP RAN experimental bureau network.
