With the rapid development of modern information network technology, networkis constantly changing people’s production and way of life, people to the networkservice quality, speed, security, the requirement of increasing the mobility andreliability, etc. Therefore, the current network system appeared some problems, suchas the IP address of the network is insufficient, personal information leaks, poorquality of service QoS, architectural complex, anti poor interoperability problems. Inthis context, this paper puts forward a connection-oriented COFN future networksystem, and on this basis, the COFN network signaling protocol of the system isdesigned.The paper’s study includes the following content: the first one, analysis of theresearch background, the domestic and foreign research, the research background. Thesecond one, analysis of the existing process of network development and now has avariety of problems, and put forward a connection oriented network of the futureCOFN system, to achieve the business and channel separation, and separation andchannel call control and call control separation. COFN network is not like the existingnetwork that can only provide a single business, but towards the diversification,personalization and open service development. This program aims to address the rootcauses of the current network is faced with various problems and challenges, is atransformational route. The third one, according to the connection oriented network ofthe future COFN architecture, the COFN signaling protocol of the system is designed,aspects of the design of COFN signaling protocol, connection control, erro r control.Finally, through the Quartus II development tools for the related design ofsignaling protocol, through the Modelsim simulation tool, the simulation of design.Verification shows that, the theoretical research and simulation results coincide wit hthe COFN signaling protocol. For subsequent COFN technology research, the paper provides a certain reference.
