Along with the rapid development of the Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks have become a hotspot in communication field the various countries. Wireless sensor networks have a wide range of applications in a number of areas as health care、environmental monitoring%defense military、security and anti-terrorism and so on. From the perspective of the application of wireless sensor networks, sensor node location information is the basis of any application. As the one carrier of the network applications of wireless sensor networks, portable terminal with its fast speed, small size, low cost,strong stability has been widely applied in many fields.This article launches the research from wireless sensor networks positioning technology, and by using embedded technology. Based on S3C6410and embedded Linux system platform developing wireless sensor networks positioning terminal and positioning systems software. The following is the main work of this paper:First, the theoretical research on wireless sensor networks positioning system, which included an embedded technology, wireless sensor networks technology, the compilation and migration of operating system, and so on.Secondly, studied on the wireless sensor networks localization algorithm, did the contrast research on some classical localization algorithm, find a suitable for the embedded environment application localization algorithm, and simulated on MATLAB platform.Finally, in the above-described theoretical basis, designed the system hardware structure and application software systems. Hardware platform based on the S3C6410processor as the center, integrated to support a2.4GHz short distance transmission Zigbee chip as the transmit and receive tool. The embedded Linux operating system software system as basis,and based on this hardware platform and system management of the entire system bootstrap, driver, applications, and so on. The use of embedded graphical user interface development tools Qt/Embedded compile the application’s user interface and develop the electronic map based on Qt and could online real-time positioning applications. We design and complete the WSNs positioning terminal prototype based on ARM embedded platform, and prove its validity through actual test.
