The Study Of Guan Zi Bu Zhu Of Liu Ji

Guan zi is a book with complicated contents spreading down to generation from the period of Warring States. But the process of transmission made many mistakes especially in the meaning of the ancient words. It is necessary to collate the vision of the book. So Yin Zhizhang write the Guan zi Zhu which is the most important book explaining the Guan Zi after the Tang Dynasty. But there are also many mistakes in this book. In Ming Dynasty, Liu Ji who lived in Jiang Xia wrote the book named the Guan Zi Bu Zhu which based on the Guan Zi Zhu. Guan Zi Bu Zhu corrects the mistake of the Guan Zi and Guan Zi Bu Zhu and expounds some new opinions. There are a small amount of scholars who studies the Guan Zi Bu Zhu. So this paper mainly studies the Guan Zi Bu Zhu on the basis of the early papers. The paper has the following main contents.Fist, I study the background of the Guan Zi Bu Zhu. This paper summarizes the achievement of Guan Zi Bu Zhu before and studies the lifetime and other books of Liu Ji. Then I summary the vison of the Guan Zi and the emendation of this book. Then through the above aspects, the paper summarizes the reason of the topic of the paper being chosen, the vision of Guan Zi the paper refer to, the purpose of the paper.Secondly, I study the traits the of the Guan Zi Bu Zhu. Through the study and summary of the emendation of Guan Zi Bu Zhu, the paper summarizes two properties of the Guan Zi Bu Zhu. First of all, there are many types of the emendations and the distribution of these emendations is imbalance. Liu collates the Guan Zi and Guan Zi Bu Zhu through the study of the book itself, comparison the book with other books, comparison the different chapters of the book or the meaning of the sentence. Liu makes somes phonetic spellings and explains of the some words, summarizes the implication of the chapters, analyses the emendations of the Yin and correct the mistakes. The imbalance of distribution of the emendation maybe have something to do with the stlye of study in Ming Dynasty. When collating, Liu notice some chapters named the Jie of something. For example the Jie of Xingshi, the Jie of Banfa, the Jie of Mingfa, Liu use them to correct the mistakes of Guan Zi and Guan Zi Zhu.Fourthly, although there are some deficits in Guan Zi Bu Zhu, Liu provide a opinion and vision of study on Guan Zi. Focus on the Guan Zi Jiao Zhu of Li Xiangfeng, this paper summarizes the influence of the Guan Zi Bu Zhu. Li take advantage the merits of the Guan Zi Bu Zhu and also correct some mistakes of the Guan Zi Bu Zhu.
